These classes focus on staying connected to the breath, and observing the body as we practice, while honoring where we are in each moment, releasing judgments and expectations.  Each class begins connecting into body and breath, while gently developing our awareness as we draw all of our essence inwards.  Each practice will include all aspects of the Hatha practice, incorporating restorative, and guided breathwork as needed.  The goal of these classes is to create mindfulness within our practice, and our bodies - connecting mind, body, and spirit.  Essential oils are also diffused during practice to assist in calming, and centering of the mind.

Ashtanga - Primary Series

Ashtanga Vinyasa -Primary Series

Ashtanga Vinaysa is an powerful yet meditative yoga practice where postures are sequenced together in an intentional series to purify, strengthen and balance the body and mind. Ashtanga Vinyasa draws on traditional elements of Hatha Yoga including Sun Salutations (surya namaskar), internal energy bonds (bandhas), breath control (pranayama), and asana (postures).


Restorative Yoga


Restorative practice is a receptive practice by nature, and in that receptivity you can guide yourself toward a more healthy state of being. Restorative yoga uses passive postures supported by props, using no muscular effort, with the focus is on relieving the grip of muscular and inner tension, and you can be more spacious and receptive. There’s no goal of stretching or strengthening. You’re exploring what happens when you slowly release your habitual way of holding.  An incredible system to heal the body,Restorative helps kick in relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system), balancing the nervous system and optimizing energy flow to the organs. They lift immune function and enhance the process of digestion. Basically they set the whole body up for deep healing, growth and repair. Beyond these incredible physiological health benefits, restoratives create the opportunity to see where you hold habitual tension.

Adding Essential Oils to this already incredibly healing practice will enhance the practices healing capabilities as essential oils have an immediate effect on our emotions, and physiology!
